Forestry Field Day Continues on May 2 at the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Rec Department

*Georgia Forestry Commission Displays begin at 1:00 p.m.

*Educational Classes 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

*Regional Landowers Meeting and Dinner 6:00 p.m.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be hosting tours of the Ohoopee Sand Dunes:

There will be four chances to tour the Dunes

*Thursday May 2 at 2:00 p.m. - The McLeod Bridge Tract

*Friday May 3 at 2:00 p.m.- Halls Bridge Tract

*Saturday May 4 at 11:00 a.m. - Halls Bridge Tract

*Saturday May 4 at 5:00 p.m. - Halls Bridge Tract

**Each tour lasts about 90 minutes and will meet at the Halls Bridge Road bridge crossing of the Ohoopee River before each tour.
