Downtown Swainsboro

Downtown Swainsboro is the location of the:

  • Pine Tree Festival Parade
  • Knotty Pine 5k Run
  • Knotty Pine Fun Run

More events are planned for the downtown area, so please come back as we will continue to add events as details are finalized.

 

Recreation Department

Recreation Department MapThe Timber EXPO and most of the shows and displays will be at the Swainsboro Recreation Department Complex on McLeod Bridge Road.

Some of the shows that will be held at the Recreation Department include:

  • FMX Motorcycle Exposition and Stunt Show
  • Animal Encounter from The Parks at Chehaw, Albany GA
  • Our first "Forestry Field Day"
  • 2nd Annual Prentice "Log Loader Operator Competition"
  • GA Forestry Assn. Regional Meeting including workshops for professional and forest landowners
  • "Masters of the Chainsaw" demonstrations and exhibits
  • Concert
